February 12 2012 I'm not even sure how to begin this update. In 3 days, Vinyl Williams is leaving for S. Korea to do a gig w/ Vinyl Williams completely aside - the exhibition, 7 day jam, truly the entire atmosphere of Berlin was inexplicably life-altering. The show was such a success...I've met more wonderful people than I ever have in such a short 2 week time period. The show was @ Mindpirates, in Kreuzberg, Belrin, Germany - I can't even begin to express the perfection that this trip was for me. November 21 2011 Lots of good shit happening. I'll be spending January with the Mindpirates Vereinsheim in Berlin, doing showcases that exhibit my artwork and music! I'll be working with Ralf Schmerburg, honorary director and artist, as well as many unexpected collaborators. Ralf directed Problema, an award winning documentary about the most vital questions of our modern age. I'm so extraordinarily inexplicably excited. Also, Vinyl Williams will be pairing up with Bad Panda Records and Warmest Chord to do a few early 2012 releases. From February 15-18 we'll be (as a band) in KOREA ON TOUR. On February 17 we have a gig w/ TORO Y MOI ... which is astounding!!! I'm really quite speechless that this has occurred ... my god. Recently, I also wrote an article for Kinki Mag in Switzerland about Egyptian BioGeometry and its potential of supporting a postive transformation of mankind. It's in German, but you can read it in English here. Vinyl Williams most likely be playing SXSW this year as well. As well as more summer domestic shows. Will keep updating...mmmmm. The album artwork is a photo by Jay Bender. August 1 2011 Shalom - just got back from Israel a couple weeks ago. It's difficult to express with language that is brief enough to sustain your attention, without experiencing my presence or facial expression. But narrowly and quite superficially, the entire experience was completely vitalizing of whatever you may consider my "source" or "essence" - I have yet to conceptualize the vastness of power that was received from a geographic location. May 17 2011 I love my life. April 20 2011 New website! My solo exhibition in the MINT GALLERY at California Institute of the Arts is up from now until Friday night. If within a reasonable distance of Valencia, CA you may check it out as you wish, it would mean a lot to me. I'll also be involved in a group show at CalArts on May 4th entitled "Virgin's Blood Boner Police". My exhibit will be in A402 GALLERY, as well as two other artists. The other artists in the group will be occupying the MAIN GALLERY. As for new music updates, I'll be recording in San Diego from May 15-22. Thank God. I haven't been able to have my own reserved recording space for nearly 9 months. Anyway, thanks for reading this. |
